Have you ever wondered what little thing you could do differently to support your clients?
Here at Serenity Financial Planning we became involved with the idea of helping one of our clients who lost her husband to suicide in 2013.
After suffering from PTSD, workplace bullying and depression, Del Wilton could face life no longer and took one final step of immense bravery, by leaping from 300 ft high cliffs in Cornwall. It took 15 days of continual searching by Cornwall Search And Rescue Team before eventually Del's body was found.
From this tragedy, his wife Nel, set up a fundraising group Thinking Of Del, to thank CSART for all their hard work, along with Del's favourite charity Marie Curie. With Nel struggling to find direction, she turned to Serenity for help, guidance and coaching, and from that, came a concept to honour and remember Del, at the same time raising funds for CSART and MIND - bringing four of Cornwall's top Brass Bands together on one stage on one night would be truly Bandtastic.
On 24th May 2017, the bands of Camborne, St Austell, St Dennis and Roche Brass will all come together at the Hall For Cornwall, displaying some of the finest musicians in the county, and at the same time, raising funds for those two very worthy charities.
Tickets available HERE from 25th November.
So, what do you think you can you do to help your clients move forward with purpose and intention?
The evening will support both Carrick MIND and Cornwall Search and Rescue Team with guest speakers from each, and is brought to you by Thinking of Del and Serenity Financial Planning, the UK’s largest Financial Life Planning firm.
