The attached article looks at the benefit of 6 simple yoga poses, to help with back pain, anxiety and digestive problems. Whilst it may seem a little peculiar to some that a stretch can help in this way, it is well worth giving it a go.
These are not difficult poses, balancing on one hand or anything like that, but rather simple.
For lower back pain - child's pose and pigeon
For upper back pain - snake pose
Whole back workout - down-dog
For anxiety - bridge pose
For digestion - cat & cow
Each has it's own benefits, and will help you move forward each day. There are a number of great programmes which help provide a regular development and progress. My favourite at present is Fitstar Yoga, a great progressive plan, which, when you think you don't have enough arms and legs to go around, allows you to take a step back, and keep going at your own pace.
Basic yoga poses can, in fact, bring relief to your health problems.
