So day one of ancient wisdom - everyone has a body!
That seems to be a rather obvious statement, of course we all have a body, but here is the sudden awakening - we only have ONE body, and we only have ONE mind.
The old phrase 'you are what you eat' may seem insignificant when we are young, fit agile and ill health and aging seems like it will never catch us up. Roll forwards 65 years, and then see what it is like.
Poor diet, substance reliance and abuse, lack of activity, poor water intake, unhealthy environments, all catch up with us sooner or later. The trouble is, that when we are aware that they are catching up, it can often be too late to do anything about it.
Imagine carrying heavy weights for year upon year - the spine will become under-stress, and maybe damaged. It is not like a garage where you can quickly replace a damaged axel. Your spine (and the rest of your body) is the only one you are assured to get.
You only get one body, abuse it and you may well suffer, look after it, and there is a chance it will see you through.
Every human has a body. It’s up to you how you use it.
