There is no such thing as a mistake. There are however, valuable lessons to be learned.
When things do not quite work out as we would hope, there is no need to beat ourselves up, to spiral into a pit of doom or misery.
Quite the opposite, we have learned that there may be another way of tackling something, we can learn, and treat ourselves kindly because of that.
Think of your last great success. Did that happen first time, or did it take a number of attempts before you achieved the perfect result?
Inventors do not make mistakes, but rather discover more ways which do not necessarily give them the desired result. Occasionally, a bi-product is discovered which can change the future.
I am sure that most of us have created great things and gained huge understanding through events which have not necessarily followed the desired path.
