What you make of your life is up to you.
Or, put another way (in the words of Larry Wingett) "your life is your own damn fault".
Only you can take responsibility for what happens to you (mostly). There is no blame on others. You make your decisions and choose how to allocate your time, resources and actions.
Larry has written a number of books on accountability. One of the great points he makes, is that if you find yourself redundant, with no job, then that is your own fault!
How can that be? What if you put in the effort, worked the hours, but the business just shut down? Well, he argues that all the other hours when you were not working could have been used upskilling, or building another income stream or business. There are choices we can make to generate options and opportunities.
You have to take responsibility for you life.
