Many of us acknowledge that the journey to work is a real drag, that arduous commute, changing from 1st gear to 2nd, or jammed into a stuffy bus or tube train.  That is no way to make you feel uplifted and positive about the day to come - far from it!

According to research by the University of West of England (analysing 26,000 people over 5 years), not only has the commute time increased by 25%, but 1 in 7 spend more than 2 hours commuting every day - that is 10 hours a week!

The impact - an increase in stress and worsening of mental health for workers (not to mention the impact that then has on their families).  There are of course only 24 hours in each day - so choosing how to spend them is a very important task indeed.

The most frightening of statistics, is that an additional commute of 20 minutes a day, has the same negative effect as a 19% pay cut - imagine that!

The big issue here of course, is that many people do not see time and money in the same space. The world has developed largely into a headlong race towards more  - more money, more wealth, more growth, yet, when our time is up, it is time that is the one thing we wish we could have more of - that vital commodity which we can never check to see how much is actually left.

At Serenity, we believe in finding out what is really important to our clients, their lives, and those around them.  Once we have established that, the fine balance of time and money comes along for consideration, and just imagine how it would feel if you were told tomorrow that all along, you have had enough money to do the things you really want, you don't need to commute any longer, you can grab your life back with both hands?

How would that feel?

Together we can bring some Serenity to your life
